Imagine you are in the middle of no where with 200 kids all wanting to play chess at the same time and you have no chess sets. How could you satisfy their demand for playing the game today ?

Three ideas from here - carve some pieces from wood or soapstone ( or soap ) even. or, Take three sheets of A4 paper and make a 3D chess set from that,  ( pictures coming ) to be used as well as a Chequers game. ( online here )  Other ideas to improve your FIDE rankings -  perhaps play chess online here at chess.com or lichess.com .

"Each year, the Pulitzer Center and Free Spirit Media connect journalists with students in Chicago for a documentary filmmaking program. Last year’s program yielded compelling student documentaries on underreported issues in the Chicago area, mental health being a common thread throughout each project. 

In Educated in Arts, students interviewed a range of artists and educators to take a closer look at the impact of arts education, its connection to mental health, and how it supports students in feeling empowered to express themselves.

Healthy Dancing explores how dance and movement, especially through after-school dance programs, can have a positive effect on students’ confidence, happiness, leadership, and teamwork. "
