out with the old - in with what ?

Nigel Stonham like any corporate chief, it should be possible for the shareholders to vote out the boss at any time. but, what is the plan for a replacement ? askibng not to have something "a" i feel is not as powerful as saying, we really want to have something "b" - if he goes, what comes next ? where is the succession planning of young people coming up through the ranks to govern the country. ? And could a team of 21 year olds guided by mentors do a worse job than now? After all, they will inherit this earth

  • Maria Nicholas Ooh yes please!!!!
  • Jonny Ringo Why exactly does this article say the next election is scheduled for May 2024? By whom?
Although there are procedures allowing the choosing of the date, surely it’s ‘scheduled’ for December 2024.
  • Mike Obermaier Great... get rid of the stinking Johnson anyplace him with a "good" Tory PM... ah... bit of a problem there.
